50 thousand downloads! We almost can’t believe it. When we published Kill Yourself we were hoping to reach 10 thousand in a year, since we weren’t planning on any kind of promotion outside of the good old word of mouth. Having reached five times the goal with still three months to go is something we would have never expected.
And it’s not just a matter of downloads, also the reviews are satisfactory. Except for some technical problems we had in our first versions and the people who got upset by the suicide topic, the reviews show the game has been well received by the players. Our main target, i.e. nostalgic point-and-click gamers, loved the game, and many people told us they’re waiting for our next game.
To celebrate, we thought it would be nice to provide you the score, MIDI and mp3 of the Kill Yourself theme. We even provided a piano roll tutorial on youtube if you can’t or don’t want to read the music score, which you can recreate by yourself with the MIDI file and a software like Synthesia.
Have fun playing your favorite tune! And also playing the Kill Yourself theme.
